Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav (68* runs off 30 balls) stitched a 114-run stand for the second wicket to seal the easy win for the Mumbai Indians against the Chennai Super Kings. During his match-winning knock, the Hitman struck four boundaries and six sixes against the CSK.

After his Player of the Match show, Rohit thanked India’s former assistant-cum-batting coach and his close friend, Abhishek Nayar, for helping him to come out of his rough phase. The India skipper shared a picture of himself on his Instagram Story and tagged Abhishek Nayar while thanking him. Notably, Nayar was recently sacked by the BCCI after the BGT debacle.
