India have faced a huge injury scare ahead of the vital match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. Shubman Gill was struck on the hand during practice and was seen in visible discomfort, as per a report in TOI.
India have made a great start to their Asia Cup group stage campaign and are currently at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai, preparing for a high-voltage Asia Cup contest against Pakistan.

After suffering the blow, Gill was immediately attended by physios and his condition was closely monitored. He soon walked off the pitch and was later seen sitting on the icebox holding his hand, which had sustained the blow.

Also, skipper Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir were spotted speaking to the Indian vice-captain. Abhishek Sharma, on the other hand, stood beside the opener and opened the water bottle for him. Minutes later, the Indian vice-captain was back in the nets and was ready to face the next ball.
