Glenn Maxwell lost his cool and gave Nicholas Pooran an earful after being hit for a four in the ongoing game between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
The incident took place in the seventh over of the LSG innings when Glenn Maxwell was bowling to Pooran. On the fourth ball of the over, Pooran had hit the Australian star for a four before hitting him for another four on the following delivery.

The fifth ball from Maxwell was a bit short, and Pooran rocked back before bringing out the pull shot to hit the ball in the gap between deep mid-wicket and long-on.

However, Maxwell did not like something about the shot from Pooran and decided to convey his feelings to the West Indies star. An animated Maxwell was seen saying something to Pooran before both of them turned back and walked towards their mark.

Talking about the game, LSG were on 156/5 after 18 overs at the time of writing this report. Ayush Badoni was batting on 37 off 29 balls while Abdul Samad gave the innings a much-needed impetus by scoring 23 runs off just 7 balls. With Samad looking in good touch, LSG will be hoping to post a 180-plus total.
The Ekana Stadium is not a very high-scoring venue, and a 180-plus total will be a very challenging total. Earlier in the game, LSG were off to a disastrous start after being asked to bat first.
LSG crosses the 170-run mark
In-form Mitchell Marsh was dismissed by Arshdeep Singh for a duck in the very first over. Aiden Markram batted positively but was sent back by Lockie Ferguson for 28 runs in the fourth over. LSG captain Rishabh Pant flopped with the bat once again as Glenn Maxwell dismissed him for 2 runs in the fifth over.
Nicholas Pooran and Badoni then steadied the ship with a 54-run stand. Yuzvendra Chahal broke the stand by dismissing Pooran for 44 as the southpaw missed out on a third successive fifty by just six runs. David Miller got the start as well but could not capitalise on it and departed for 19.
