The 23-year-old India National Cricket Team fast bowler Harshit Rana picked up the wicket of the 30-year-old Pakistan National Cricket Team all-rounder Khushdil Shah on Sunday, February 23.
Harshit Rana was pumped up after dismissing Khushdil Shah and he was also seen giving a send-off to the all-rounder at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium during the blockbuster ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match between India and Pakistan.

Harshit Rana bowls brilliantly in the match against Pakistan
Rana delivered a great performance in India’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 opening match against Bangladesh National Cricket Team, and he picked up a three-wicket haul for 31 runs.
Harshit Rana continued his good form in the high-octane match against Pakistan and didn’t look under any kind of pressure while playing the biggest match of his career.
He looked calm and composed from his very first over and was more threatening than the veteran pacer Mohammed Shami. Harshit Rana bowled terrific lines and lengths and troubled the Pakistan batters.
He picked up his first wicket of the match in the last over of the innings. On the fourth ball of the over, he bowled a slower delivery to Khushdil Shah, who slogged it to deep mid-wicket.
The ball went straight towards Virat Kohli, who charged in and completed a simple catch. After getting the wicket, Rana was seen giving a send-off to Khushdil Shah as he was seen gesturing the batter to leave the field.
Shah managed to score 38 runs off 39 with two sixes, while Harshit Rana finished with bowling figures of 7.4-0-30-1.

India were crushed by Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final
The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final at The Oval was a blockbuster clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. The Men In Green, after a shaky start in the tournament, produced a dominant display to claim their maiden Champions Trophy title with a crushing 180-run victory over India.
Batting first, Pakistan got off to a solid start with openers Fakhar Zaman and Azhar Ali putting up a 128-run stand. Fakhar, who was given a reprieve on 3 due to a no-ball by Jasprit Bumrah, made full use of the opportunity and smashed a brilliant 114 off 106 balls. Azhar contributed 59 runs before a run-out ended his stay.
Babar Azam (46) and Mohammad Hafeez (57* off 37) also batted well and helped Pakistan post a massive total of 338/4 on the board in their 50 overs.
While chasing, India got off to a worst possible start. Mohammad Amir ran through the top order, dismissing Rohit Sharma (0), Virat Kohli (5), and Shikhar Dhawan (21) early to leave India reeling at 33/3.
Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni also got out early, reducing India to 54/5. Hardik Pandya was the lone warrior, blasting 76 off 43 balls with six sixes, but a disastrous mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja led to his run-out. India were eventually all out for 158 in just 30.3 overs and faced an embarrassing loss.
