New Zealand will be eyeing yet another win when they take on Bangladesh in the sixth game of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The game is scheduled to be played on Monday (February 24) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
New Zealand began their campaign in style as they inflicted a heavy defeat on hosts and defending champions Pakistan. The Black Caps thrashed Pakistan by 60 runs in the tournament opener. After scoring 320 runs, New Zealand bowled out Pakistan for 260 to register an impressive victory.
A win in the upcoming game against Bangladesh will put New Zealand on the verge of semifinal qualification. So as both the teams gear up for the upcoming game, we are taking a look at the New Zealand Playing 11.

Openers: Devon Conway, Will Young
Devon Conway and Will Young are expected to be the openers in the New Zealand Playing 11 for the upcoming game. Young starred with the bat for the Black Caps in the first game. With New Zealand losing several wickets cheaply, Young stood firm at one end and went on to smash a stunning century.
He also shared a 118-run stand with Tom Latham for the fourth wicket. Young departed after scoring 107 runs. While Young had a good outing, Conway failed to impress. He scored just 10 runs and will be keen to make amends in the upcoming game.
Middle-order batsmen and allrounders: Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (wk), Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner (c)
Kane Williamson had a rare failure with the bat as he was out for a single-digit score. Naseem Shah dismissed him with a beauty as the former New Zealand skipper walked away for only 1. Williamson will look to bounce back in the upcoming game.
Daryl Mitchell could not impress with the bat either. The right-handed batsman was out for just 10 runs and will look to make amends in the upcoming game.
Tom Latham starred with the bat for the Black Caps against Pakistan. New Zealand desperately needed his services after a poor start and he did not disappoint. He scored an unbeaten 118 runs off 104 balls and will look to continue his good form in the upcoming game as well.
Glenn Phillips also continued his fine form with the bat. The allrounder gave the New Zealand innings some much-needed impetus by smashing 61 runs off just 39 balls. Phillips also took a stunning catch to send back Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan.
Apart from Phillips, captain Mitchell Santner and Michael Bracewell are expected to be the other all-rounders in the New Zealand Playing 11. With the bat, they did not get the chance to do much. With the ball, both the spinners played a key role in New Zealand’s win.
Santner picked up 3 wickets while Bracewell bowled an economical spell, conceding only 38 runs in his 10 overs.
Bowlers: Nathan Smith, Matt Henry, William ORourke
New Zealand are unlikely to tinker with the bowling lineup after the impressive win over Pakistan. They are likely to have three pacers in New Zealand playing 11 vs Bangladesh. Nathan Smith, Matt Henry, and William ORourke are expected to retain their spots in the New Zealand Playing 11.
ORourke picked up 3 wickets while Henry claimed 2 wickets against Pakistan. Smith, on the other hand, picked up 1 wicket.
