Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) skipper Rajat Patidar was the shining light for his team with the bat in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians (MI). The match between the two teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Rajat Patidar stole the limelight with his brutal innings in the game against Mumbai Indians. The RCB skipper walked out to bat at number four and went after the bowlers right from the word go. He made sure that he cashed on the start given by the top order.
Rajat Patidar looked in fantastic touch as he destroyed the Mumbai Indians bowlers, hitting them all over the park. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper led from the front as he made sure that he took his team to the big total on the board, which is a big clash in the IPL.
Rajat Patidar slammed a brutal half-century and with the way he was batting, it surely needed something special to remove him. And the Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton came up exactly that as he picked a magnificent catch to send the batter packing.
On the last ball of the 19th over, Trent Boult bowled a full delivery and Rajat Patidar picked it from outside the wide tramline. He got a thick top edge on the attempted scoop, and the ball had more height than distance as it went towards the backside.
Ryan Rickelton put his head down and ran back quite hurriedly. He then put in a full-length dive to take the catch. The keeper-batter ran in the exact opposite direction and did superbly well to keep his composure and take a blinder.
