Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Axar Patel didn’t have the kind of outing he would’ve wanted with the bat in the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The match between the two teams is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Axar Patel was yet again forced to come earlier into the bat as Delhi Capitals lost quick wickets while chasing the target of 164 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The left-hander walked out to bat at five when Abishek Porel got out in the fifth over.
Axar Patel tried to steady the innings with KL Rahul and bring Delhi Capitals back in the game. He also looked to be aggressive as he played some good shots, but Royal Challengers Bengaluru spinner Suyash Sharma ended his stay at the crease in the 9th over.
On the 4th ball of the over, Suyash Sharma fired in a full ball outside off, to which Axar Patel attempted to hit over the extra over but ended up hitting it much straighter than intended. The ball went flat to Tim David at long-off and he took the catch safely to send the Delhi Capitals skipper packing.
What caught the attention of many was the reaction of Suyash Sharma after he removed Delhi Capitals skipper Axar Patel. The wrist-spinner came up with the death stare as the batter walked out of the ground.
