The tenth match of IPL 2025 is all set to be played between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Visakhapatnam. SRH won the toss and elected to bat first in this day game.
Both the teams didn’t have many surprise changes except the omission of the pacer Simarjeet Singh for the legspinner Zeeshan Ansari by SRH. On the other hand, KL Rahul was back for DC in a big morale-booster for them.

Impact players nominated by DC and SRH
Delhi Capitals nominated Karun Nair, Ashutosh Sharma, Sameer Rizvi, Donovan Ferreira, and Tripurana Vijay as their Impact Players for this game. They are likely to bring in Ashutosh Sharma as their Impact Player, although they also have an option to bring in Sameer Rizvi, who played the last game.
Ashutosh played a blinder in the last match as he displayed his sentational finishing skillls. The 26-year-old single-handedly took Delhi to a thrilling win over LSG in the last over.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad named Sachin Baby, Eshan Malinga, Simarjeet Singh, Adam Zampa, and Wiaan Mulder as the Impact Players. They have selected a Playing XI with just three overseas players which means that they have the room to include one more overseas player later as an Impact Player.
They can bring in one out of Adam Zampa and Eshan Malinga later in the game. Zampa provides the team with an experienced leg-spin bowling option. However, he has been expensive in both the matches so far.
Eshan Malinga can also come in as the Impact Player for SRH. Malinga is a quality bowler at the death with his ability to bowl yorkers. He is an emerging fast bowler and can be useful in conditions where good death bowling skills will have a say.
KL Rahul back for Delhi Capitals
In a big boost for Delhi Capitals, KL Rahul returned into the Player XI after missing the first match to be with his wife for the birth of his child. He replaced Sameer Rizvi in the Playing XI.
Rahul took the wicketkeeping gloves from Abishek Porel, who kept in the last match. Porel is playing this match purely as a batter and is likely to feature in the middle order.
Meanwhile, SRH brought in the young legspinner Zeeshan Ansari for Simarjeet Singh. It means that they can include an extra seamer later as the Impact Player.
Recent form of DC and SRH
Delhi Capitals have played just one game so far and emerged triumphant on the back of a magnificent knock from Ashutosh Sharma. They will be high on confidence after the victory and will be aiming to keep up their winning momentum.
On the other hand, Sunrisers started their season with a thumping win over Rajasthan Royals but lost to Lucknow Super Giants in their second match. They played both their previous matches at their home ground and the game against DC is their first match away from home.
