The Motorola Moto G Power (2025) is a descendant of a budget-friendly lineup that has remained competitive in the US market for years. Then again, choice is very limited in the US, so the Moto G Power (2025) doesn’t have a hard time finding its place.
This year’s Moto G Power builds upon its predecessor by offering a slightly bigger display and more durable design, making it an even better all-rounder than before. Motorola didn’t raise the pricing either.

The Moto G Power is now running on a new Dimensity 6300 SoC and paired with a slightly bigger 6.8-inch display, protected by Gorilla Glass 5 this time around. The back retains the 50MP main camera and 8MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. Kudos for including that feature.
We are also met by a familiar 5,000 mAh battery, supporting up to 30W wired and even 15W wireless charging.
All that hardware is protected by an IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H compliant chassis, a huge step forward from last year’s “water-repellent” design.

Unboxing the Motorola Moto G Power (2025)
The handset comes in a modest retail box containing only the usual user manuals and a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging and data transfer. No charger is included in the box, so you must buy one separately.
Look for one that supports at least 30W using the Power Delivery protocol.
