The Oppo Find N5 is the thinnest foldable yet, measuring just 8.93mm when closed, but it is also one of the most capable foldables. The company has released a series of promo videos that show off the capabilities and explain how Oppo managed to build a phone this thin and durable.
The latest video shows off a couple of AI features – AI Summary for documents and AI Call Summary, both of which will help you stay on top of things even during a busy day. And yes, the Find N5 supports a stylus on its inner display.
The next video is a quick overview of the phone with the key specifications. This includes things like thickness (4.21mm when opened), weight (229g), the size of the inner display (8.12”), the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the phone’s IPX9 water resistance rating and the 80W charging for the fairly large 5,000mAh battery.
The next video is the one to watch if you’re curious about how all this was stuffed into such a slender package. Oppo had to use a mixture of advanced materials like 7-series aluminum alloy and aluminum matrix composites, plus carbon fiber for the middle plate and titanium alloy for the hinge. The motherboard was packed in tightly to leave more room for the battery, while the flat internal structure minimizes the crease.
