Earlier today, Oppo revealed the designs of the Find X8 Ultra and the two Find X8s models. The teasers continue with one featuring the X8s duo and the Oppo Mag ecosystem of accessories.
In case you missed it, Oppo decided not to embed magnets into its phones and instead put them in special cases that enable support for a series of accessories. The video focuses on just that with a series of colorful Mag cases.
Once you have the case on, you can magnetically attach a power bank (which charges the phone wirelessly) or you can use the 27W wireless charger with a built-in cooling fan.
By the way, Oppo already has similar accessories like this 5,000mAh power bank or this 50W AirVOOC charger. The models featured in the video seem to be designed for the smaller Oppo Find X8s.
The video also shows off a 100W GaN charger and a curious USB-C cable. Note that the 6.3” X8s is rumored to support 80W wired charging, the larger X8s+ should be able to handle more. Oppo has officially confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra will support 100W over USB-C and 80W wirelessly.
Oppo has a big event planned for April 10, which will feature the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s and X8s+, along with the Oppo Pad 4 Pro and Oppo Watch X2 mini. Don’t get your hopes up, though, it looks like none of these will be available globally.
